So we all know what a fashionista Kailey is. But she took it to a whole new level the other day. Mind you, it was about 32 degrees outside. She came down in her Fourth of July dress from last year, no leggings and a cardigan and her Easter wedges. I told her she was going to freeze and she couldn't play in the gym without leggings since she was in a dress. So she came back down with leggings added to the navy dress...black leggings. Nice. She asked me if I approved to which I said no. She asked why and I told her it was too cold for the outfit (she also wanted to wear a shawl instead of a coat). Se informed me that , "girls of fashion sometimes have to be cold to look good and she didn't mind." Then she followed it with, "and besides, fashion is what you think looks good, and I think this looks good so it shouldn't matter what others think". Dear Lord, help us all.

Fun with Friends

Zoo
Today we got to go to the zoo with some friends. We went to a class on peacocks and turkeys where they got to learn about them, then pet a chicken with funky feathers, listened to a story and then made turkey hats. Fun!! Next we got to ride the carasel and then played at the discovery barn and the park. Lastly, we got to see a few animals before heading home. A fun afternoon with friends.
